A view from Mt Tamalpais

The photo was taken midway up the mountain on the hairpin switchbacks to the top of Mt. Tamalpais. In the foreground, the valley where Muir Woods is located on the floor, beyond that, the layered Marin Headlands, and in the far distance, on the left, Sausalito and San Francisco Bay, near the center of the image, San Francisco, and on the right, the Golden Gate, Lands End, and Ocean Beach.
