Finally went to see the (block-buster) Chihuly Show at the De Young this afternoon.
Arrived at 4pm, an hour before the museum closes, thinking that at that late time much of the crowd would have died down.
The place was still packed. I learned from one of the security people that 12,000 people had seen the show today.
Photography (without a flash) is permitted. The spot-lit pieces are very photogenic.
