Full moon and the Queen Wilhelmina Windmill in Golden Gate Park

Located under the grand Dutch (North) windmill at the west end of Golden Gate Park, you will find out why the Queen Wilhelmina Garden has been delighting visitors since the 1900s. The garden is named after the Dutch Queen Wilhelmina, who is best known for having a reign longer than any other Dutch monarch. Each year, flower bulbs are donated by the Dutch Bulb Growers’ Association. The tulips of the garden are a popular draw for tourists and wedding parties alike, and are best enjoyed from March 15 through April 15.
