Jane Goodall, Giants orange, and the Buddha at night

This afternoon in San Raphael, I shot nearly 400 photos of a living saint. . .Dr. Jane Goodall.
Later this evening, I went out and photographed San Francisco’s Coit Tower and City Hall, both of which are lit up these days in San Francisco Giants orange. On the east side of City Hall, in the Civic Center Plaza, Zhang Huan’s enormous sculpture of Buddha titled Three Heads Six Arms, is now illuminated with floodlights, (to deter any more graffiti and vandalism). This new lighting of the sculpture creates a stunning and dramatic effect which is missing during the day. Looking for a worthy cause?
