The pyramid through the 'eye in the needle', and the Lighthouse on Point Bonita

The photo was taken in the Marin Headlands from the last turn-out just before arriving at Hawk Hill/Battery 129.
I was shooting with the Canon 100.0-400.0mm zoom lens. 1/30 at f/25, ISO 400

The Point Bonita Lighthouse is located on the extreme southwestern tip of the Marin Headlands. The lighthouse was constructed in 1855. It was the third lighthouse to be built on the West Coast following Alcatraz and Fort Point. Point Bonita is still an active lighthouse maintained by the United States Coast Guard. Looking across the treacherous waters of the Gate is the rugged coastal shoreline of Land's End. Following the shoreline to the right, one can detect Seal Rocks standing offshore from the Cliff House, and beyond that, the soft lights of the Avenues spilling down to Ocean Beach and the Great Highway.
