Wild Game Week

Next Tuesday thru Saturday is WILD GAME WEEK at the Big 4 Restaurant (where I work). Our chef, Gloria Ciccarone-Nehls is nationally famous for her wild game recipes, and this is her sixteenth year of putting on this week long event. Working the Wild Game Week is a lot of fun, and a lot of hard work. This year, every night next week is completely sold out. Wild Game Week is also the beginning of our busiest time of the year. Beginning on Tuesday next week, when we go in to work, it will be a mad dash to get the pre-shift sidework done. Once the dining room opens for business, it’s like being chased all night by a runaway train. It then continues like this for us through the holidays and well into the new year, finally playing out towards the end of February.
The accompanying image is the graphic I did this year for the Big 4’s mailing list. The image became a postcard that was mailed out with the menu to our list of regular dining friends and customers, and Big 4 Restaurant enthusiasts.
