Our new Academy of Science in Golden Gate Park

This afternoon, Dave and I took a Members Preview Tour of the new California Academy of Science Building in Golden Gate Park. San Francisco has waited nearly five years for this curious building (with its living roof) to re-open. The building is magnificent inside. It’s a photographer’s paradise. Thousands of people, and hundreds of children turned out on this perfect sunny day to walk through the new building for the first time. The Academy of Science opens officially on September 26th. It’s a homerun.
