Jane Goodall, the full moon, and a red City Hall

I had a very busy weekend with the camera. At noon on Saturday, Dr. Jane Goodall was the keynote speaker at the Wildlife Conservation Network Symposium in San Francisco. (Her latest book Hope for Animals and Their World: How Endangered Species are Being Rescued from the Brink, was published in September 2009.) Tonight being the full moon, I got some beautiful shots from Twin Peaks. City Hall is lit up red this evening, so I ended this day between the Opera House and the Marines Memorial Building with the camera on the tripod and the shutter open each shot for a half minute and more. Now I’ve got a lovely batch of new images. It’s a good night.
