RON HENGGELER |
On June 25th, a show of photographs by Lisa Kanemoto opened at the Rayko Photo Center Gallery, 428 Third Street in San Francisco. The show, titled WE ARE, runs until July 31, 2009. The black and white photo by Lisa that has been used recently on postcards, posters, and in the newspapers to announce the show is a photograph of me taking a photograph of a bearded man. This photo by Lisa was made on a Gay Pride Parade Sunday in the early eighties. At the time that I was photographing the man, I realized that a woman was photographing me, so I turned my camera on the woman and photographed her. Here is my photo of Lisa from that moment in time. http://www.ronhenggeler.com/Portraits4/m417.htm
