Dr. Jane Goodall in San Francisco
Jane Goodall was in San Francisco last week, speaking at conferences, attending events, and promoting the new National Geographic documentary about her titled, JANE.
The film by award-winning director Brett Morgen has been receiving rave reviews.
The music is by Philip Glass.
She stayed at the Fairmont Hotel, a block away from where I work. I met with Jane on Sunday, hours before she left San Francisco.

Jane had to keep the windows closed for most of her stay because of the thick smoke and ash from the wild fires burning in Sonoma and Napa. When I shot this photo on Sunday, it was the first clear day in a seven days. |
