Views in and around the City from a Hornblower Dinner Cruise on San Francisco Bay
On Sunday Sept. 10, Dave and I were treated to an evening cruise on San Francisco Bay.
We rode on a Hornblower cruise ship that departed at 7pm from Pier 3 along the Embarcadero on San Francisco's Waterfront.
Soon after the departure, we passed under the western span of the Bay Bridge, then turned aroundand headed towards the Golden Gate Bridge in time for the sunset.
Later, in the darkness of a still night, we idled for a short time in Richardson Bay near Sausalito.
After 9pm, we headed back to San Francisco, passing near the eerie profile of a dimly lit prison on Alcatraz Island.
