The Victorian Alliance Annual Dinner at the Far East Café in Chinatown 

Members and guests of the Victorian Alliance recently enjoyed a ten course Cantonese buffet at the famous Far East Café in San Francisco's Chinatown. The dinner and raffle ticket proceeds benefited the Victorian Alliance Grants Program.

FOUNDED IN 1973
Celebrating 51 years as the City's oldest all-volunteer, not-for-profit organization committed to the restoration and preservation of historic buildings, landscapes, and artifacts through advocacy and education. Since its founding, the Alliance has raised and awarded $ 400,000 to worthy restoration projects and preservation education.

The Victorian Alliance turned 51 this year. The VASF members continue to celebrate its achievements in architectural preservation and education through 47 house tours.

Since its beginning, the Victorian Alliance has award over $500,000 in grants to worthy projects throughout San Francisco.

The Far East Cafe

Founded in 1920, the Far East Café is a legacy business. This historic restaurant boasts palace chandeliers, painted wall murals, carved screens and an emperor’s throne, all imported from China over one hundred years ago. It is renowned for its Cantonese cuisine. Members and guests enjoyed a ten course banquet meal with complimentary wine and tea.
