A headdress atop one of my gallon glass jars. (I have over a thousand of these jars, each with a headdress.)
The broken piece of marble base is from the original City Hall building that was destroyed in the 1906 earthquake.
(I found it in the Civic Center Plaza where the new Main Library stands today.)
The piece of wood dates back to 1851. It’s a piece of wood from the foundation of the famous Belli Building.
