RON HENGGELER |
On Sunday June 29th, I was on Market Street photographing the 44th Annual LGBT Pride Parade.
This year’s parade turned out to be a record-breaker. It was six hours long, beginning at 10:30am and finally finishing shortly after 4:30pm.
Organizers don’t have hard numbers yet, but they say the turnout was the highest ever.
There was also a record number of floats, making it was the longest parade in the event’s history.
The parade on Market Street began near the Ferry Building and culminated at the Civic Center Plaza and City Hall.
I shot over 3000 photos during the parade. Here’s a few of my captured images.
