This is a difficult-to-find, out-of-print book . It’s filled with rare photos and intimate detailed information that is being lost with the passage of time.

The History Channel occasionally shows two different programs on the creation of the Transcontinental Railroad. One is titled RAILROAD EMPIRE, the other, TRANSCONTINENTAL RAILROAD.
